Compact Control Platform + Mobile Client in Small Production Systems
For small-scale production and broadcast systems (e.g., small OB Van (outside broadcast van), satellite uplink vehicle / DSNG vehicle, small studio, fly-away kits), despite constraints such as limited system scale and tight spaces, there are clear control and monitoring requirements that are often overlooked due to the small system scale. To address these needs, we developed the Compact Control Platform.
Overview:
The Compact Control Platform is a high-performance, high-density, high-reliability control system platform built on a Linux embedded environment. Its core consists of software function modules running on the platform. Different Software Module combinations can be configured on the unified Hardware Platform, enabling it to serve as a Tally system, Matrix system, or Monitoring System. The platform also supports mobile clients including WEB Portal client, Microsoft tablet client, Android tablet client, SMS client, and WeChat client. It is particularly suited for use in space-constrained vehicle-mounted environments such as OB Van (outside broadcast van) and satellite uplink vehicle / DSNG vehicle.
Operating Mode:
The platform host unit is installed in a rack cabinet. Mobile clients connect to the Server application on the host via on-board WIFI to operate and control the entire control platform.
Features:
1. Compact form factor: The entire system hardware consists of one 1U/19-inch standard rack-mountable high-strength carbon steel industrial Chassis and one tablet. The 1U Chassis mounts directly onto the rack, and the tablet can be conveniently placed on the side of the rack or laid flat on top of rack-mounted equipment.
2. Simple deployment: No monitor, keyboard, or mouse required. No network cable needed. Only on-board WIFI is required.
3. High integration: The host integrates 14 COM ports, 4 LAN ports, 4 GPI ports, and 4 GPO ports.
4. High stability: Linux-based embedded environment with built-in virus protection, embedded processor, high performance, low power consumption, and no moving parts such as fans. The host is equipped with a solid-state drive and a proprietary shock-resistant hard drive design, making it well-suited for vehicle-mounted vibration environments.
5. Convenient: Operators are no longer confined to a fixed position and only need to be within the on-board WIFI coverage area. Inside or outside the vehicle, everything is at your fingertips.
In addition, system push notifications can be received via SMS and WeChat platforms, keeping you informed of system operating status in real time.
