Compact Control System

I. Overview

As the broadcasting industry continues to evolve, compact and flexible systems are increasingly favored by TV stations. In response to market demand, we have launched our independently developed Compact Control Platform.
Our Compact Control Platform is a high-performance, high-density, highly reliable control system built on a Linux embedded environment. Its core consists of control software modules running on the platform. The system meets various application requirements through selectable software modules, targeting small and medium-scale users, particularly small and medium-sized broadcast TV stations and local TV stations.

II. Software Modules for the Compact Control Platform

Software Module Application Scenario
Tally Function Module

Supports source name following and camera Tally functions for small systems.
JOYSTCK Function Module

Captures camera JOYSTICK trigger signals to enable linkage between JOYSTICK, waveform monitors, and Audio/Video Matrix. Requires a GPIO Acquisition Driver to complete this function.
Main/Backup Signal Linkage Module

Keeps the Matrix EMG signal consistent with the Switcher PGM signal.
System Snapshot Module

Saves device settings and parameters as a system snapshot, enabling one-touch switching between multiple modes to simplify user operations.
Matrix Control Function Module

Provides Matrix crosspoint control with remote API access. Can be used together with the Matrix Control Android client and Monitoring Modules.
Matrix Control Android Client Module

An Android tablet app for viewing and switching Audio/Video Matrix status. Runs on mainstream Android tablets.
WEB Portal Module

A network management module that allows external devices to view and configure accessible device parameters via a web interface.
Device Monitoring Module

Provides device status monitoring and control with remote API access. Can be used together with the Monitoring Android Client Module.
Monitoring Android Client Module

An Android tablet app that provides full access to monitored device information, including Alarm Query, parameter readout, etc. Runs on mainstream Android tablets.

III. Typical Application Scenarios and Functions

1. Compact system applications with playback query and analysis capabilities:

Supports Tally functions for compact systems such as city-level studios, EFP setups, satellite uplink vehicles, 3-4 channel OB Vans, etc.
Supports vehicle-mounted Monitoring Systems. A 1U Server paired with the Monitoring Android Client Module enables remote monitoring.
Supports Matrix switching control systems. A Server paired with the Matrix Control Android Client Module enables cross-workstation signal scheduling, Matrix crosspoint monitoring, and more.

2. Intelligent module options for medium and large systems

Can serve as a security isolation device, such as a WeChat gateway for Monitoring System alarm notifications.
Protocol Converter, e.g. serial device to SNMP conversion.
