The Monitoring System uses a server-client architecture. The number of servers and clients can be allocated based on system scale.
For small systems such as studios and OB Vans (outside broadcast vans), the server and client can share a single machine.
For large systems such as facility-wide monitoring systems and Control Centers, the system can be equipped with multiple acquisition servers, primary and backup alarm processing and database servers, and multiple alarm display clients. To address cross-platform monitoring requirements, the monitoring software runs on multiple operating systems (such as Linux, Windows, Unix, etc.). Using different OS platforms effectively isolates virus propagation between systems and ensures system security.

The system provides strong capabilities for monitoring common broadcasting equipment and facility power and environmental conditions.
For commonly used equipment in the broadcasting industry, the Monitoring System already supports status detection for most devices. For devices that support remote control, the system can also expose control interfaces when security policies permit.
In addition to equipment monitoring, the Monitoring System includes a knowledge base with pre-configured descriptions of common faults and their solutions, helping on-site engineers interpret system and equipment status and facilitating troubleshooting.
For power and environmental monitoring, the Monitoring System supports monitoring of the target system's power supply, system environment, and equipment room video surveillance. We have extensive project implementation experience in this area. Industrial-grade sensors are used for data acquisition to ensure accuracy and reliability.
For power supply monitoring, the Monitoring System supports monitoring of UPS units, three-phase power supply status, and rack-level power distribution.
For environmental monitoring, the system supports temperature and humidity monitoring, smoke detection, water leak or HVAC condensate monitoring, air conditioning status monitoring, and more.
For equipment room video surveillance, the system supports HD video capture, video playback, video review, and infrared night vision. The system can also trigger alarms on motion detected in the video feed. When an alarm is triggered, the system automatically bookmarks and stores the video segment for later review.
The Monitoring System supports multiple alarm processing rules and can suppress alarms at successive levels to minimize noise and display only critical alarms. Through various alarm processing rules, the system can analyze the scope of impact and generate impact assessment reports.
The Monitoring System supports multiple alarm severity levels, distinguished by color, providing users with an at-a-glance view of system status. For the same alarm, the system can also assign different severity levels based on the device's role in the system or the parameter magnitude.
Monitoring System alarms can be integrated with O&M workflows, combining device warranty records and active equipment lists to accurately filter out non-essential alarms. Based on inventory management, the system can also provide warranty expiration reminders.
The system display can be configured as single-screen, multi-screen, or remote display depending on system scale.
Single-screen display can show routing topology diagrams, equipment room system diagrams, power and environmental monitoring views, and more.
Multi-screen display can combine routing topology diagrams, equipment room diagrams, and power and environmental diagrams on a single interface.
Remote display provides web-based access, allowing users to view system status via LAN or the internet.
For alarm display, the system supports audio, visual, and electronic alarm notifications.
Audio alarms can use ringtones or similar methods to indicate critical alarms.
Visual alarms are displayed directly on the system interface. Alarms can be shown on topology diagrams, equipment room routing diagrams, and power and environmental diagrams, enabling precise alarm location identification and impact scope mapping.
In addition, the system supports alarm notifications via multiple communication channels, including SMS, email, and mobile terminal applications. Alarm distribution can be differentiated by alarm severity level and personnel responsibilities.
The Monitoring System provides convenient O&M management tools to assist on-site personnel with maintenance. These tools include: knowledge base, inventory management, alarm management and statistics, and document management.
When the system generates an alarm, on-site personnel may not know the cause or the resolution, making it difficult to respond. The Monitoring System includes a built-in knowledge base that combines past cases and target system data to describe each alarm and provide corresponding solutions. The knowledge base also supports learning: when on-site personnel discover new issues or updated solutions during troubleshooting, duty operators can manually enter the updates.
The system supports inventory management including inbound records, outbound records, equipment maintenance records, and warranty period calculations. It can also coordinate with the Monitoring System, for example by temporarily suppressing alarms for equipment under repair and sending warranty expiration notifications.
The system records all alarms that have occurred and allows review through alarm queries. It also provides statistical functions that display alarm counts per device and generate reports with charts.
When troubleshooting equipment, on-site personnel often need operation manuals or system diagrams. The Monitoring System allows users to retrieve all required documents and drawings directly through the application for convenient on-site maintenance.
